Step 1
RACE CLASSES
First you need to figure out what class you intend on running in, Classes are defined by age, overall weight of the Driver & Kart, which will the dictate engine choices, controlled gearing, tyres, etc.…
At Auskart Racing we have designed the race classes in such a way that everybody has a fun, fair but competitive day every time.
To check which Class you can fit in to please refer to the Rules & Regulations page.
Step 2
FINDING A KART
A new kart can cost around $4500 ready to race, where as a secondhand kart could cost around $1500 but may require some form of reconditioning. It is highly recommended to do your research before you buy and ensure the kart fits your requirements and circumstances.
You can view karts currently for sale at the Facebook group we have set up for this purpose.

Like all types of motorsport, dangers are apparent and as such the correct safety gear must be utilised.

RACE NUMBERS
Allocated race numbers will be posted here as membership details are processed. Any previous members that have not joined this year need to do so ASAP should they wish to keep their previous race number.
CURRENT RACE NUMBER ALLOCATION BY CLASS
New members please check for availability of your preferred race number and email us your preference.
Please note that it is possible to run the same race number as another competitor as long as both drivers are not in the same Race Class. If you change Race Class for any reason and your current race number is the same as someone in the Class you are moving to, you will have to change your number.
At the start of each new race season, race numbers are reserved for drivers from the previous year until after the first Sign on Day of the new year.

There is a 2-step process, one for Registering & Paying event participation costs and another for Signing into the event.
Both steps can be completed on PC/MAC/Tablet or Smart Phone.

- Auskart racing membership runs from January to December of the same year
- Direct Deposit Only. No cash or forms will be accepted at the Track.

- Spectators are free and always welcome to attend our events.
AUSKART RACING INC. CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Auskart racing Inc. membership runs from January to December of the same year.
If you are joining after June 30 a 50% discount will apply to all memberships.
Memberships are taken at the February Test & Tune day only.
Memberships outside of this are strictly by appointment only. Please don’t expect us to squeeze you in at a Championship Event and /or permit you to tack on to the back of an existing Class competing in a Championship race, we have an obligation to our existing members to ensure continuity of the Championship as well as Safety requirements. We will however try to accommodate you where we can and if we can.
NATIONAL RACE LICENCE
- All karting events held by Auskart racing .Inc are sanctioned by racers.
- Racers is the provider of our insurance and offers there own licensing system.
- The cost for both junior and adult is the same.
- Annual fee is from the date of issue.
- A Day license is also available for Come & Try days or Open events for one off participation.
- Racers sanction a large range of Motorsport events across the Country with many other Clubs and is accepted by some other sanctioning authorities.
MEMBERS HAVE
- The option to attend & participate in any and all Auskart Racing Inc. Racing & Non-Racing Events.
- Voting rights at the AGM and on General Club matters.
- The option to nominate to hold formal roles on the management Committee.
- The option to attend certain meetings and will be notified of (General meetings & AGM).
- To follow the rules of Auskart Racing Inc.
EVENT PARTICIPATION COST
Auskart racing Inc. use Racers World Event registration & sign on system.

Step 1 – Event registration and payment can only be completed through Racers, there will be no cash accepted on the day.
Step 2 – Prior to receiving a wristband, competitors must sign into the event through Racers World. No wrist band no racing.
Both steps can be completed or PC/MAC/Tablet or Smart Phone.
